Duration Discount
12 months 15% off hourly compute pricing
36 months 30% off hourly compute pricing

These discount rates are lower than before. A commitment discount is based on our ability to amortize a hardware investment known in advance. With memory six times more expensive than a year ago, and component forecasts that commit no one beyond a few weeks, committing for three years at a heavily discounted rate would amount to betting on a market that no one knows how to read today. We prefer a more modest discount, but one that we can maintain, rather than a generous rate that reality would force us to take back.

Despite everything, we remain significantly cheaper: after this change, our committed rate remains about twice as low as that of the market leader.

The discount applies to compute. Local storage and the IPv4 address are invoiced excluding the discount, at their full price, for the entire duration of the commitment.

What your Savings Plan guarantees

Two schemes coexist, and they do not guarantee the same thing.

If you subscribed to a Savings Plan before the new price list, your current price of the instances and discount percentage will not change. This price is fixed for the entire duration of your commitment. On the other hand, local storage and the IP address, now invoiced separately, are not covered by this guarantee: from October 1, 2026, they will be invoiced to you at the full price, even if your commitment is ongoing. If your next renewal is after September 1, 2026, your price will increase to the new price reflected here, based on your subscription.

If you subscribe to the new pricing structure, the discount percentage for compute pricing is guaranteed for the duration of your subscription and applied to the current catalog prices. If the catalog price increases in the future, your discount will be applied to the new catalog price.

A Savings Plan guarantees you a discount percentage on the published price.
